DECK
My buddy Frank and I built this deck in Hood River last summer.

We used appearance grade pressure treated lumber- ( it didn’t have the usual incised marks typical of regular PT lumber.

You can see there’s a “step down” to the far side of the deck.
We used cable instead of wooden pickets.

We built 2 stair cases to access the deck.

I just finished this small deck-I used Alaskan Yellow cedar. This cedar is very well suited to outdoor projects.

The “structures” on either side of the stairs are not handrails (they’re much too sort) just a decorative feature using green bamboo.
