FENCE
I incorporated several new features in
this 24 ft long fence.
I bought some 3″ Moso bamboo and split it
down the middle to get 2 half pieces.
Instead of using the traditional black twine,
I switched to black zip ties. They won’t fade
or loosen up like the twine.
Here’s my latest fence.
I set 4×4 juniper posts into concrete. I drilled holes in the posts so the bamboo poles could pass through.

I attached pairs of 3/4″ bamboo poles to the horizontals. I bought 6″ diameter Moso bamboo and cut it into half circles and attached them to the face of the 4×4 posts.

The gate was fun to make. I used 1″ thick cedar and cut it into a yin/yang design. Can you see the shiny black “ball” hanging near the middle?
Here’s another bamboo project.

The 4×4 frame already existed- i just added the bamboo lattice.
